Brazil's 200-year-old national museum in the city of Rio de Janeiro was engulfed by a huge fire with 90 percent of its collections destroyed. Luckily however, in the past 18 years, INT has been collecting the 3D data of collections in the museum and data of more than 300 rare exhibits are currently stored in the database.
